AlBenAza originally formed in the darkest depths of Devonshire when Al, Ben and Aza met at a local acoustic night...

Nowadays regarded as one of the stalwarts of the South West Scene, they've been writing and performing together ever since that fateful day in a Plymouth bar.

They pride themselves on proper song-writing, backed up by passionate and high energy musicianship. On stage, these boys don't fuck about!

Shortly after forming they released a 7" vinyl recording of Jurassic 5's "Concrete Schoolyard". This sold out at the infamous Fat City Records in Manchester twice and was well received around the globe.
It's rumoured that even Jurassic 5's very own Cut Chemist has a copy...

After very acoustic beginnings, AlBenAza then entered new territory by bringing drums and bass into the mix... Shortly after this a second record was released.

Entitled "I-Scream ep" this 5 track release was a genre hopping treat for the ear. With fantastic poppy tracks such as "Sit Back" sharing space with epic ballads such as "Walking out on me". After this release, they raised their game and started sharing the stage with some fairly well known names such as The Beautiful Girls, Kubb and Seth Lakeman.

In 2009 they went on to support international superstar KT Tunstall in the French Alps and this remains one of their biggest gigs to date!

For the past few months the lads have been in the studio, working on their first full-length release. New material such as "Sing It" and "World Falls Down" really showcase their rockier side, whilst new acoustic tracks such as "Waterside" and "Stupid Song" remind the world that they haven't forgotten their acoustic roots.
